You can put your trust in the staff at Genital Warts Treatment Center with their combined 50 years of experience in health care including over 35 in our center.

Dr. Steven Abbadessa

(Or as many call him – Dr. Abby)

I am an experienced, board certified Proctologist and surgeon. As the founder of Genital Warts Treatment Center, I am an expert in the treatment HPV related conditions including genital warts and anal warts, treating thousands of patients through my twenty-plus years in practice.

Other needs of patients involve addressing diseases of the colon and rectum. These diseases and problems include: Colon and rectal cancer prevention (conducting colonoscopies and other screenings for cancer), rectal and colon surgery for removal of polyps, treating colon cancer, anal conditions such as anal fissures, abscess and fistula, anal itchingCrohn’s disease. We are experts in hemorrhoid treatment. Visit our sites for hemorrhoids and all other colon and rectal issues.

Over the years I have adjusted my practice to meet the needs of my patients. People can’t afford to take time from work and that is why the majority of procedures are done in the office. Also, with escalating health care costs and high deductibles, we are able to give patients the highest quality and the safest care possible without the high fees associated with a hospital setting.

My staff and I look forward to helping you with your health concerns.

To your health and peace of mind,

Dr. Steve Abbadessa

History:

After receiving my doctorate from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine I spent 5 years in the military in primary care and the HIV Unit. I have done extensive work in the area of HIV and have produced nearly a dozen papers in this field. After being discharged from the Air Force, I became certified in Proctology and now have over 25 years as a physician and over 20 in my specialty.

I believe in an informed and intelligent combination of traditional and alternative treatments. My office offers a carefully selected line of fiber supplements that support colon health.

I am married and have three wonderful children along with two exuberant Labrador retrievers.

You’ll find my approach to be caring and straight forward. When patients come to see me, they are usually concerned because of some type of bleeding or pain that they are experiencing. I try to put them at ease and deal with the problem immediately.

I understand how sensitive it is to have to deal with anorectal conditions such as hemorrhoids, or genital warts, let alone having to be examined in these areas. My staff and I take great care to make you feel comfortable.
